Step 3: Quote and order confirmation — Once the design is finalised, you'll receive a detailed quote. A deposit — typically 50% — is required to confirm the order and begin production.

Step 4: Production — This is where the piece is actually built. Depending on complexity and our current schedule, production typically takes between six and ten weeks.

Step 5: Delivery and installation — The piece is delivered and installed in your home. Our delivery team handles pieces carefully and ensures everything is positioned correctly before they leave.

Timelines: What to Expect

Custom furniture takes longer than buying off the shelf. Most custom upholstered pieces take six to ten weeks from order confirmation. The practical implication: if you're furnishing a new home with a fixed move-in date, start the custom furniture process as early as possible.

Materials: A Quick Reference

Upholstery fabrics — leather, velvet, linen blends, bouclé, and performance fabrics are all popular choices. For Hong Kong's humid climate, performance fabrics are particularly practical. Full-grain leather is the premium choice for durability and ageing quality.
